The hatch slid open and there was a blinding flash. Normally the flash bang would stun and disorient but Alice didn’t have human senses and was not affected in the least.
Before the boarders had time to react Alice had fired 20mm thermal grenades into the chests of the first two would be invaders. Two perfect balls of white light appeared, and where gone in a second, leaving craters 6cm across.
The two remaining troopers fired their flechette cannons but the shots where easily stopped by the riot shield Alice held. Two more balls of light appeared ignoring the attackers’ heavy armor that would stop most modern small arms cold.
Alice dropped her shielded and grenade launcher. The battle had lasted 6.2 seconds and the pilot was still in there and he could not be allowed to send a distress signal. With inhuman speed she was in the cockpit. But the pilot was ready and had his pistol drawn, he put two where her heart would be, if she had one, but all it did was damage Alice’s skin. She then easily snapped his neck.
Her task complete Alice returned to the Enigma leaving four hollow chested corpses and one lifeless rag doll behind.
